Ember Outings brings homeschooling families together for engaging, educational field trips throughout Ottawa and beyond. These are family-style adventures — parents come along, and children discover the world with their peers. Unlike our microschool program which requires families to commit to a full term of workshops, Ember Outings offers one-time events and activities that participants register for individually.
Each outing is chosen to complement home learning: local history, science, arts, and the unexpected stories that make Ottawa a fascinating place to grow up in.
Upcoming Adventure
Thursday, October 15th, 2026 — Kars, ON
