Opening Sept 2026 — Ottawa

Learning that ignites
curiosity & care

Enrichment classes and group learning for homeschooled children ages 10–12 and 13–16 in Ottawa. Each day brings one liberal arts class, one STEM class, one arts class, and some physical activity.

Express Interest

Educating the whole child

🧠

The Mind

Workshops taught by teachers with a deep interest in their fields. Engaging group work and creative expression alongside rigorous academic exploration.

🏃

The Body

Outdoor and indoor sports, games, and creative arts that incorporate movement. Energy flows freely — moving, acting, and doing are central to how we learn, not afterthoughts.

🤝

The Community

Spending the day together, being part of a group, and building real relationships with teachers and peers. Ember families are creating a community where children grow as social beings.

Enrichment built for homeschoolers

Ember is a part-time secular enrichment program for homeschooling families — not a replacement for home education, but a powerful complement to it. Each day, students join a small group for three classes: one in liberal arts and humanities, one in STEM, and one in the arts. Small groups mean real relationships, genuine discussion, and learning that actually goes deep.

We have a founding group of Ottawa families already enrolled and are welcoming additional families for our upcoming session. If you're looking for rich group experiences alongside the freedom of home learning, we'd love to meet you.
